When will registration open?
Registration for the Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference will open June 1.
What will registration include?
Registration includes access to all conference sessions, keynote presentations, panel discussions, and networking events. Additionally, registrants will receive conference materials including a nametag and swag. Meals and refreshments during designated conference times are also included in the registration fee.

Can I register at the venue?
No, on-site registration is not available for the Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference. Online registration closes on October 13, 2024.
Is there a dress code?
The Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference does not have a strict dress code, however we recommend business casual attire for most conference events. As weather conditions may vary, it is advisable to bring a light jacket or sweater. For the keynote speaker and dinner, you may choose to dress slightly more formal.
What is the weather like in North Texas in October?

Is there single-day registration for the event?
No, the Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference only offers one registration type for the entire weekend. Registration includes both the Friday night film screening and Saturday events.
Are meals included?
Continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided on Saturday. Refreshments will be available for purchase at the Friday film screening at Ervay Theatre.
Do I really need to wear my nametag?
Yes! Nametags serve several purposes during the event. They help facilitate networking and connections among attendees, help conference staff and organizers ensure only registered participants have access to conference sessions, and promotes a sense of community and engagement.

Where is the Conference taking place?
The Friday night film screening is taking place at Ervay Theatre, located at 1005 Botham Jean Blvd, Dallas. Saturday events will be held at Four Corners Brewery. Located at 1311 S Ervay St, Dallas, Four Corners Brewery provides a spacious indoor/outdoor space to accommodate sessions, panel discussions and the keynote presentation. I’m from out of state, which airport should I fly into?
If you’re traveling from out of state to attend the Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference, there are two primary airports to consider: Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL). Both serve the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and offer ground transportation.

Where should I sit during the lectures?
Seating for the Conference is on a first-come, first-served basis with general admission. You are welcome to sit in any available seat.
Do I have to attend every lecture?
No, you are not required to attend every lecture at the Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference. The schedule is designed to offer a variety of sessions and panel discussions to cater to different interests in the nonfiction space.
